Each book sculpture is made out of organic materials found on-site linked to a personal experience in nature: the monarch butterfly forest in Mexico, the abandoned hills of tiny villages in Abruzzo, Italy, a rosebush in her personal current studio garden, the forest from Rachel’s childhood in Wisconsin, USA…
